The man who immortalized “Sarung Banggi”
the song that would become Bikol’s regional anthem...
In a little town of then ‘Libog’ a brilliant composer
write Sarung Banggi "one night when the chirping
of a bird and rustling of the leaves woke him one night.."
A song create a long lasting impression of bicolanos
who heard of this wonderfully simple melody
for over 100 years. It has been recorded by many artists
through many arrangements and has earned
its rightful place in the annals of music history.
Like the imposing Mayon, Cagsawa ruins’ solemn serenity,
Sarung Banggi will continue to flourish as the melody and
tune passes down from one generation to another.
As we look up to admire the beauty of Mayon, we ‘hear the silent,
calming serenade of Sarung Banggi.

Reflection on Epic Ibalong
Doing something for the sake of the majority, for whatever means, yet promoting good and right decisions can be called as heroism. The three heroes, Baltog, Handyong and Bantong do their own ways of showing their bravery in protecting the Ibalong and promoting standard of living to its people. Through their faith and determination to conquer all the struggles and to face all the challenges , they succeed. The struggles they had encountered are part of the challenge for them to attain triumph.
Sacrifice of their selves, their effort, and even love for the majority, is another element of heroism. It can also be shown in a simple way of giving your food for those who needed it more.
Even though its really hard for one of the characters to conquer the tempt against selfish decision, trough his love and care for the people , he overcome it!
Being a hero is not that easy, but we can be if we are willing to be!!!

Reflection in Daragang MAgayon
The conflict between the characters gave rise to a more sophisticated idea on what the writer is trying to visualize on the wide imagination of readers about the reality of life. This brought a deeper reflection about pleasing people. Though we are embraced with wealth and power, not all the people will follow and cooperate with us. Even we are full of knowledge and abiding principles, not all of them will believe and listen to us. In spite of the physical and inner beauty we carried, not all of them will be attracted. As a whole , not all the people will accept us wholeheartedly.
The reasons behind the reality is natural. People come across situations that result in conflict with other people due to their distinct characteristics, attitude, behavior and manner toward socialization, in which it is one of the causes of the existence of different groups or union in the society where they play in different aspects and purposes. Those people with quite similar view towards life grouped together, in which understanding, appreciation, and closer socialization are present. Though they are different entirely, there are some aspects where they collide. It can't be avoided that in a certain group, a deeper relationship might be formed more tan friends. But, sometimes feelings or love doesn't meet, causing a more serious problem .
In that situation, in order to avoid consequences of wrong decisions like what happened to the characters, people must understand and accept the reality of life. Just bear in mind that God has purpose for you to discover, either to learn from the mistakes and accept failure or for you to be more flexible in facing struggles.

EvErydAy
everyday is a wonderful opportunity
to love,
to learn,
to laugh, to care,
to celebrate the joy of life.
not one of us can bring back
yesterday or shape tomorrow,
only today is ours and wont be ours
for long.
Once its gone it will never
come back,
it will never be ours again.
make the most of our day!!
its me;

Ibalong
...ibalong is an epic about 3 heroes in bikol whose names are: BALTOG, HANDYONG, and BANTONG...who fights for the sake of others.......who fights with different kinds of monsters!!! they are heroes in their own way...even though theres no assurance to bit all the beast and predators_still they continue fight!!!
....what is a hero??? a simple question yet hard to answer. Is a hero a hero if he dies for the sake of others??? Nowadays,,,how can we describe a hero? ......thats a hanging question for us to answer.............WHO ARE MY HEROES???
...ORIOLE is a half serpent half human creature, who fell inlove with HANDYONG... she's a prudent creature_hard to capture and hard to bit. She's a temptation for HANDYONG,,,..._while discussing the epic of ibalong one word strucks my mind "TEMPTATION"... which reminds me of something that i couldn't forget... then i ask my self ..is temptation conquerable?... i just hope all of us are like HANDYONG who could sacrifice his love for the sake of others... he doesn't think of his own happiness...he could've choose ORIOLE to meet his wants......but NO !!!!! how I wish we could be like him.......
